"The breakfast food was simple and quite acceptable, everything was good without blowing the budget. The service was friendly but the meal took well over an hour to arrive, far too slow. Portions small to average size. The view is amazing and there's a nice play area for small kids. 3.5 stars."

"Doodles has got to be one of the biggest pleasant surprises of my travels thus far. With most places, you know what you kinda going to get. But, with this one, it was a last minute venue change due to traffic, and boy oh boy did they bring it. Our server, Joseph was truly great. The food portions were generous, the vibe was giving Christmas came early and they managed to give us a table without a reservation. Ps. Yet another one we will definitely visit again"

"Doodles on Monday 2nd March for Breakfast was a highlight. We got in at 9am sharp and was blown away by the cleanliness of the place, from the windows to bathrooms to floor, it was spotless. The vibe was fresh and inviting on a sunny morning. The dirty chai was spot on, loved it. Cappuccino was just ok for me. breakfast was value for money, for R99 I got toast, 2 eggs, , generous bacon and 2 sausages. The night before, we had the beef n reef and taste of the sea combo. Prawns were a bit on the small side, and the steak basting didn't quite hit the mark for me as the flavour was bland. Overall, the main meals were average. Would I go back? Defintely the service is always consistent, food always generous and tasty and the vibe and view is first class. Special note for the great service from Jerry serving us at dinner time ."

"A lovely find, spacious, busy and buzzing from early morning. Heather was a great waitress/hostess and made sure we comfortable and nothing was too much effort for her, even tho we changed seating 3 times. Food and drinks was good, definitely worth a try. Beachview is a bonus."
